Personnel Status & Designations

Document Status:
CURRENT
Classification:

Issued By:
VTF COMMAND

The VOSNET network consists of personnel serving different functions and holding different designations.

VTF STATUS identifies an individual's position within the Vosnet Task Force. VOSNET DESIGNATIONS recognise individuals whose participation, contribution or association has earned distinction within the wider network. Recognition designations do not confer authority, operational clearance or command responsibility.

Command Hierarchy

VTF Status

An individual's formal position within the Vosnet Task Force.

VTF // Director

Command Authority

The Director holds ultimate authority over the Vosnet Task Force and is responsible for its overall direction, operations and personnel. The Director establishes VTF priorities, appoints Command personnel and retains final authority over Task Force decisions.

Assignment: Appointed by existing VTF authority.

VTF // Command

Senior Command Personnel

Command personnel assist the Director in the administration, direction and continued operation of the Task Force. Command is entrusted with maintaining VTF systems, overseeing operations and making decisions within the authority delegated to them.

Assignment: Appointed by the Director.

VTF // Moderation

Community Protection & Oversight

Moderation personnel are entrusted with maintaining the safety, conduct and integrity of the VOSNET community. They operate under VTF Command authority for community matters and are responsible for enforcing the Community Code and addressing issues requiring moderation intervention. The Moderation designation does not, by itself, confer operational command.

Assignment: Appointed by VTF Command.

VTF // Operator

Active VTF Personnel

Operators represent active personnel within the Vosnet Task Force. Operator status recognises individuals who have demonstrated sufficient trust, commitment and involvement to participate as established members of the VTF network. Operators may be assigned responsibilities or participate in VTF activities as directed by Command.

Assignment: Granted by VTF Command.

VTF // Candidate

Prospective VTF Personnel

Candidate status identifies personnel who have been recognised by VTF Command as potential VTF personnel. Candidates may participate within the wider VOSNET community while demonstrating the reliability, conduct and commitment expected of VTF personnel. Candidate status does not constitute operational authority or clearance.

Assignment: Granted by VTF Command.

Network Recognition

VOSNET Recognition

VOSNET recognition designations sit outside the VTF command structure.

They recognise contribution, participation, association and history within the wider VOSNET network.

VOSNET // Field Crew

Direct Participation

Field Crew are personnel who have participated directly in VOSNET field activity. This may include appearing on stream, playing alongside Vosnet Gaming, participating in VOSNET events or otherwise operating directly with the network.

Awarded For: Direct participation with VOSNET.

VOSNET // Support Crew

Community Contribution

Support Crew are personnel who contribute to the network from behind the scenes. This may include helping other members, assisting with community activities, providing useful knowledge or resources, or making other meaningful contributions to the VOSNET community.

Awarded For: Meaningful contribution to the network.

VOSNET // Ally

Trusted Connection

Allies are trusted individuals who operate outside the standard VTF structure but maintain an established connection with the VOSNET network. This may include collaborators, trusted contacts, creators or others whose relationship with VOSNET extends beyond ordinary membership.

Awarded For: Established and trusted association with VOSNET.

VOSNET // Veteran

History & Service

Veteran status recognises personnel with an established history within the VOSNET community. It acknowledges sustained participation, contribution and commitment over time. Veteran status is based on an individual's overall involvement rather than a fixed membership period.

Awarded For: Sustained involvement and contribution.

Personnel Notes

Designations Are Not Ranks

VTF Status and VOSNET Recognition serve different purposes. VTF Status represents an individual's position within the Task Force. VOSNET Recognition acknowledges an individual's relationship with, contribution to or history within the wider network. Recognition designations do not grant additional permissions or authority. Personnel may hold more than one recognition designation where appropriate. All designations are issued at the discretion of VTF Command and may be reviewed when circumstances change.
