Transmit information in a form that can be understood without unnecessary interpretation.
Relevant
Transmit information required for the current operational requirement.
Timely
Information should be transmitted when it remains useful.
Verified
Where practical, important information should be confirmed before being treated as operationally reliable.
Communication Priority
01 — Operational
Information directly affecting an active operation.
02 — Intelligence
Information requiring assessment or wider review.
03 — Administrative
Routine organisational information.
04 — Public
Approved information intended for external distribution.
Communication Principle
"Transmit what is required. Verify what matters. Preserve what is important." Unnecessary transmissions should not interfere with information that requires immediate attention.
